Rachel Harris: APRN, CNM. CPR, NRP, has attended Spinning Babies, and BEST certified.
Rachel was homeschooled from second grade until the age of 16 when she started at Joliet Junior College. Rachel graduated from Trinity Christian College in 2008 with her BSN. She graduated in 2015 with her MSN from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Rachel worked for seven years in medical surgical nursing at St James Hospital in Chicago Heights and Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights. She worked at Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey in labor and delivery from October 2015 through the end of August 2016. Rachel trained for homebirth provision by working in office and birth assisting with Stephanie Rosekelly, CNM, owner of Genesis Family Midwifery in St. Charles, Illinois from October 2015-May 2016. Rachel has four children. 2 were born through MidwivesCareLLC.
Elena Zubaite, APRN, CNM. Birth Emergency Skills Training, NRP, CPR certified. Has taken Spinning Babies class. Elena fulfilled her lifelong dream to attend home births when she contacted Rachel for a clinical placement with MidwivesCare, LLC. MidwivesCare LLC now welcomes her as a fully fledged Certified Nurse Midwife! Elena is originally from Lithuania and has 4 children born with midwives.
Colleen Marotta: CNM, APN, IBCLC, CPM, CPR, BEST and NRP certified.
Colleen worked at Homefirst Health Services early in her nursing career assisting with homebirths. She has worked as a nurse midwife providing homebirth services for Genesis Family Midwifery and My Mindful Birth. Also, Colleen has worked as a nurse midwife at Elmhurst Hospital and for OMG midwives. Colleen has four children and all of them were born at home.
